Tawana Derrick is a native of Perth Amboy, New Jersey and currently resides in Avenel, NJ. She is a graduate of Delaware State University with a degree in Mass Communications. When she is not working on film sets, Tawana can be found spending time with her daughter, trying new restaurants, or reading a book. One thing that Tawana is passionate about the mental health of black women because black women go through so much and a lot of times do not feel seen or heard. She joined Brown Skin Brunchin because it is a pleasure to her to be around other black women as a sisterhood and she is looking forward to connecting with the sisterhood in healthy ways. Actor
