Hi Everyone! I’m Curren and I am a Registered Nurse and Candlemaker. My love of candles came about as an outlet for my self as a means of meditation. I began giving my candles as gifts to my family and friends and they were like “these are really good! You could make some money from this!” Lol….well I began researching candles and discovered cheap parffin in candles(BIG BRANDS) causes headaches, lung issues and allergies. As a nurse I have a duty to heal, educate and serve and that is how Hummingbird Flames Candle Co started. Everything about my company is eco-friendly from the recycled custom made boxes to the candles made from coconut wax to the natural wood wicks and even using pressurized safety warmers to keep your home safe.

Well besides making candles, I moved to the Atlanta area in 2018 and yes, since being here all I have done is care for patients. I never had a chance to explore the city or meet my tribe. I think this app is the perfect opportunity for me to find my girls. I am a foodie so I love trying new foods and food venues, I am also a member of 2 community service organizations and love to give back, educate and serve. I’m excited to be here and can’t wait to meet you!
