Hi ladies! ???????????? I’m McKela, and I’m so excited to be part of the Brown Skin Brunchin’ community!

I recently moved back to Richmond, Virginia, and I’m excited to reconnect with the city while also meeting new people and building new friendships. ❤️

I’m originally from Lamar, South Carolina, a small town that will always be home. I’m a proud mom, paralegal, CNA, and lifelong learner. ????✨

Education is a big part of who I am. I have an Associate degree in Paralegal Studies, a Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, and a Master of Arts in Law with a concentration in Human Rights & Rule of Law. I’m also continuing my education at the doctoral level in Strategic Leadership with a concentration in Healthcare Leadership.

Outside of work and school, I love brunch, good food, traveling, exploring new restaurants, discovering new places, meaningful conversations, and making memories. ????????✈️

I joined Brown Skin Brunchin’ because I’m looking forward to this new chapter of my life and want to surround myself with genuine, positive, supportive, and fun women. I’d love to meet new friends, find my brunch sisters, explore Richmond and beyond, and create some unforgettable memories together!
