About Me |
Ashley Bolden is a native of St. Louis, MO and after living in the Bay Area for a few years, she has returned back to her Midwest roots to St. Louis, MO. She is a graduate of University of Missouri – Columbia with a degree in Biological Sciences and Chemistry.
When she is not developing clinical trials for a comprehensive cancer center, Ashley can be found cooking or baking from the many cookbooks she has collected over the years, building the latest botanical lego set or volunteering her time at different organizations throughout the year (Food Not Bombs, Lasagna Love and Bake4Kids)
One thing that Ashley is passionate about is helping others, her favorite quote, “Kindness is something anyone can give without losing anything themselves”. She joined Brown Skin Brunchin because she loves meeting new people. She also loves learning more about different cultures and experiences to create new adventures for herself. Ashley is looking forward to connecting and uniting other women of color to be a resource and support in whatever way is needed – even if it’s over a mimosa or two.
