Making Everyday Life Easier for an Aging Family Member
A few weeks ago, I noticed my grandmother was spending much more time sitting at home because ordinary errands had started feeling like a lot of work for her. She still enjoyed reading, watching her favorite shows, and talking with friends, but getting meals ready, organizing the house, and making it to appointments had become tiring. Our family didn’t want to make major changes to her lifestyle, so we started discussing ways she could get a little assistance while continuing to live at home.
