What is a Réveillon Dinner?
The Creole tradition of Réveillon (REV-ee-on), historically celebrated as a family feast following Christmas Eve mass, has been reinvented in restaurants throughout New Orleans with menus inspired by those enjoyed by the Creole families who began the tradition. Participating restaurants have added their own little twists to their menus, featuring their house specialties and other delectable examples of their culinary creativity.

Do I have to participate in the gift exchange?
If you RSVP for this event, please bring something for the White Elephant gift exchange so that no one is left out.Don't know what "White Elephant" is? In short, it's the opposite of "Secret Santa" where you'd typically pull a name and give that person a gift but instead, we'll all just bring one wrapped gift, put it in the middle, and choose a gift by number. The gift limit is $20 but you're welcomed to get whatever your heart desires.
-
What is parking like?
Miss River is located in the heart of downtown so we recommend using ride-share, getting dropped off by someone you know, or arriving much earlier to find parking (street parking is free on Sundays but there are still paid premium lots + valet service at the Four Seasons).
