Andrea Huff
About Ambassador
Andrea is a native of Mississippi and Florida, and currently resides in Hawaii, on the island of Oahu, where she has been a resident for over 16 years. She is a graduate of Florida A&M University with a degree in Political Science.
When she’s not on a boat, at the sandbar or at the beach, Andrea can be found serving her country as a DOD civilian and Soldier in the United States Army Reserve. She’s also a freelance Makeup artist that goes by the moniker Dreamface.
Andrea is very passionate about current events, social and economic issues community engagements and Black excellence. She joined Brown Skin Brunchin as a way to meet and connect with other women of color, who may or may not be new to the island but looking for a community. Hawaii is a very unique place as it sits in the middle of the Pacific Ocean with the nearest landmass in any direction being over 3500 miles away. At times it can feel very lonely and isolating and difficult to navigate.
Andrea feels that Brown Skin Brunchin is a stress free way for women to connect and just enjoy themselves and meet other friendly faces that look like them and make them feel like they have a sense of community, because as our founder, Lillian believes ,“It’s just Brunch!”
