Chicago May Brunch
Brunch is Calling!
Get ready to join Brown Skin Brunchin’ this month at Luella’s Southern Kitchen at 1:00 PM for a memorable brunch experience!
Luella Funches is the Great Grandmother of Darnell Reed. She came to Chicago in the 40’s by way of Morgan City Mississippi. Since 2015 our Lincoln Square restaurant honors her with a menu inspired by her expert home cooking. Our customers favorites are the Shrimp and Grits as well as the Buttermilk Fried Chicken.
At Luella’s Southern Kitchen, we pride ourselves on bringing authentic Southern dishes to your table. Our menu is filled with hearty, satisfying options.
New to Brown Skin Brunchin’? We’re all about gathering women of color to enjoy great food, fun vibes, and refreshing drinks—all while building friendships that last a lifetime. Each brunch is a chance to connect with incredible women both locally and from across the country. Expand your Brunchin’ circle with us!
How to Join Us: To reserve your spot, there’s a $10 fee, which helps keep our community active and growing. Your seat is saved as soon as your RSVP and payment are confirmed.
We can’t wait to brunch with you!
